The Best Disneyland Fireworks Locations

The best Disneyland fireworks locations are ever changing. Today we are going to explore a few non-traditional spots to watch the Disneyland Fireworks spectacular without feeling cramped and crowded on Main St. Disneyland has expanded over the years, which means new locations to watch the fireworks and we are excited to share some of our favorites.

Waiting on Main Street for hours before the fireworks even start to secure your spot is not ideal. I would much rather spend that time on rides and grabbing a more non-traditional seat to the fireworks.

Big Thunder Mountain

Do you love Big Thunder Mountain? Because we sure do! It is not only one of our favorite rides, but at night when the Disneyland Fireworks show is running, it makes for an amazing location to watch them fireworks show in line and on the ride. And speaking of the line, there is likely not a very long one during the fireworks show. You can see the fireworks right next to the mountain and if you are on the ride while the show is going, it is something you’ll never forget.

Fantasyland

Another great spot to view the fireworks is in Fantasyland. There’s two spots that are prime, by King Arthur’s Carousel and the Teacups. It is so magical the way Fantasyland glows at night and it makes for some truly amazing photos. You can also walk right on the Teacups(no lines here), and spin away under the lanterns while fireworks sparkle overhead. See the image down below at just how picture perfect this spot can be.

Galaxy’s Edge

In addition to these spots, a favorite far-far away is in Galaxy’s Edge. Many of the fireworks are launched from just behind galaxy’s edge, so you definitely get a great show-close up! This is the closest you can get to the fireworks, so it is an amazing show. Try posting up near the Millennium Falcon or the TIE Fighter for some great views. Another bonus to hanging out here to see the fireworks, is once they are over, you can get in line for Rise Of The Resistance(it closes during the fireworks) and beat the crowds.

Disneyland’s Fireworks are a spectacular sight from just about anywhere. And if you want to fight the crowds on Main Street for a spot, I can’t blame you. Seeing the show in front of the Castle is a MUST as least once. If you are open to some new spots, give these a try. Or let me know your favorite spots in the comments below.
